The Greensense Story

Greensense was founded by Peter Tickler, Fabian Le Gay Brereton, and 40under40 winner Derek Gerrard.

The three founders had previously worked together for many years providing management and IT consulting services to WA’s largest resources companies, gaining particular expertise in the areas of sustainability, stakeholder management, information management, and operational and management reporting.

Greensense was founded with the vision of helping companies engage staff to embrace sustainability with a particular focus on energy and water management in the built environment. Initially bootstrapped through consulting services, the focus of the company rapidly shifted developing an innovative technology platform.

A few short years later, Greensense is a passionate team based in Subiaco with an award winning product: Greensense View.

A growing number of leading companies, organisations and government bodies use Greensense View and rely on our team’s expertise. For instance, we’re proud to be the preferred supplier of consulting services to Western Australian Local Government and to Western Power.

Greensense is a member of the Green Building Council of Australia and the Sustainable Energy Association.
