How Greensense View® works
Our platform has three parts, which are described below.
1. Sensor and control network
Firstly, we can implement a state-of-the-art wireless sensor and control network or we can integrate with existing smart meters or building control systems.
Our use of wireless communication and clip-on current sensors leads to significant reductions in time, cost and disruption compared to traditional sub-metering installations.
We use Zigbee networking for our wireless communications and we can design networks that can span a building or a neighbourhood. Our Zigbee network gateways connect back to our central server via the Internet or the mobile-phone network. This means we can compare performance and encourage postive competition between floors of a building and across a geographically dispersed portfolio of buildings.
2. Greensense Crunch
Secondly, our proprietary calculation, aggregation and integration engine, Greensense Crunch, collects and processes the data in real-time. Greensense Crunch is a hosted service deployed in our secure Perth data-center. Greensense Crunch can do NGER and ISO14064 compliant greenhouse and energy estimating and is also the basis for our local government reporting platform.
3. Greensense View
Lastly, Greensense View presents the data back to stakeholders in realtime. We have very flexible technology for presenting information through our interactive dashboards so we can tailor the branding and display to your requirements. The Greensense View dashboard can be accessed through your Intranet or Internet site or via an information kiosk in your building foyer.
